Clinical Experience

Tyra joined Beyond Limits in 2026 after earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is advancing her clinical expertise through Georgia State University’s pediatric residency program as she works toward board certification as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist (PCS). Her doctoral training provided a strong foundation across diverse settings, including outpatient pediatrics, early intervention, pediatric sports and orthopedics, and adult acute care. Additionally, Tyra is a published author whose capstone research highlighted the practical benefits of the non-instrumented Dynamic Visual Acuity test for identifying vestibular dysfunction in pediatric patients.

Tyra was born and raised in Jonesboro, GA, where she attended a performing arts high school with a focus in dance. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys attending sporting events, reading, doing puzzles, and hanging out with her dog.
