Clinical Experience
Emily joined Beyond Limits in 2025 as a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist. Emily has experience in the school setting, private practice, and telehealth serving children of all ages, from birth to 18 years old. She has experience assessing and treating a wide variety of speech, language, feeding and swallowing, and cognitive communication disorders. As an autistic person herself, Emily loves working with all children regardless of their speech and language needs, but she specializes in working with autistic children across the spectrum including those who use AAC devices and children who are Gestalt Language Processors. Emily takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach to speech therapy and believes in play-based sessions that are fun, motivating, and personalized to each individual child’s interests. She strives to create a therapy environment that is collaborative and makes speech and language intrinsically rewarding.
