Clinical Experience
Lauren joined the Beyond Limits family in 2020 as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Appalachian State University. She is certified nationally through the American Speech Language Association (ASHA) as well as holding her Georgia State License.
Lauren has experience working in several clinical placements in NC and SC including Foothills Correctional Institute, Scottish Rite Communication Disorders Clinic, Carolina Pediatrics, and Therapy360. She enjoys working in the Private Practice setting with children ages 1 to 18 in the following areas: Articulation and Phonology, Early Childhood Language Delays, Expressive and Receptive Language Delays and Disorders, Autism, Pragmatic Language (Social Skills), and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Lauren feels passionate about collaborating with professionals and caregivers to provide a multifaceted, family-centered approach to treatment to support each individual clients’ needs. She enjoys cultivating relationships with clients and their families while helping children communicate.
